These cosy yet stylish properties retain some of the old beams and are perfect for couples wanting to explore the area. Set on the edge of the owners smallholding with resident goats horse free range chickens and the adjacent paddock. The perfect base to relax and enjoy yourself yet close to the wealth of attractions that Somerset has to offer including Cheddar Gorge Wookey Hole Clarks Village and the excellent sandy beaches of Burnham and Brean. Situated in the centre of the Somerset Levels you will have a vast choice of walks and cycle routes. Amenities: both properties have ample off-road parking. Bed linen towels electric and heating included ( 25 winter surcharge payable to owner on arrival September - end of May). Wi-fi available. While a cot and highchair are not supplied at the properties you are welcome to bring your own with you. 2 dogs welcome. Regret no smoking in the property. Location: beach 2 miles village shops and pubs within walking distance supermarket and launderette in Highbridge 0.5 miles. A single-storey stable conversion offering light and airy accommodation and ONE bedroom: double. Shower room: with shower cubicle and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: TV DVD hi-fi and dining table kitchen area with cooker microwave and fridge/freezer. Outside: private enclosed patio area with seating to enjoy a glass of wine and BBQ. Additional information: this property overlooks the paddock with animals.

Bath has some of Britain’s most majestic Georgian architecture, as well as the famous Roman Baths (not mention great shopping). Then there’s Wells, England’s smallest city. Wandering around the cathedral close, with its unspoilt medieval lanes is like taking a step back in time. And for a real sense of mystery, there’s Glastonbury (home of the world-famous music festival), supposedly the site of King Arthur’s mythical Avalon. All await you on one of our Somerset cottage holidays. The county has more than its fair share of beach resorts too. The Grand Pier at Weston-Super-Mare is superb, as is the wide beach here, while Minehead and Burnham-on-Sea offer a choice of traditional seaside pleasures. Meanwhile, for nature lovers there’s the wild landscape of Exmoor, and the Mendip and Quantock Hills, both Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Cheddar Gorge is truly stunning. Great for real Cheddar cheese too!
